Books have never been my interest at any point in life. But I have read quite a number of books. About technology, about history, about love, about mysteries, and about philosophies. The book I want to talk about now is “The Alchemist” by Paulo Choelo. If a book has ever inspired me, then this is the one. Message of the book is so powerful. Below is one of my favorite lines in that book
“when you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true”.
Choelo express his feeling about the belief of people in fate. When something happens good its good and if somethings happen bad, its fate, and you do not have control over it. He says this is the greatest lie in this world. A lie everybody believes. A lie that comforts everyone. A lie that lead one to faith. A lie that no body realize.
At some point some one might point that he is turning out to prove his implicit atheism. I would clearly say NO. He never say anywhere not to believe in supreme power. He only express his view that its ungodly to justify oneself with the name of fate. He simply ignite the message “Believe in your dream”.
